St. Simons Island is located off the coast of Brunswick, Georgia. Brunswick does have its own airport and is very convenient to the island. St. Simons is about and hour and a half from both Jacksonville, Florida and Savannah, Georgia. Either airport is also convenient to St. Simons Island. Even in the off-season, hotels on St. Simons Island sell out nearly every weekend. Please take this into consideration and make your hotel reservations as soon as possible. We have reserved blocks of rooms at a group rate for our guests at two hotels on the island. When you call either location, reference the Spalding-Cook Wedding to get the negotiated group rate. Please note the reservation cut-off dates to get the negotiated rates. On-line reservations do not count in our room blocks. |
